Emergency First Aid, Appointed Person

A one-day ( 6 hour) course suitable for Appointed Persons in workplaces where full first aiders may not be required or as support for full first aiders. The program will include resuscitation, the treatment of an unconscious casualty, treatment of wounds etc. Certificates are valid for three years, will be awarded to candidates who satisfy the trainer/assessor of their competency.
£450 a course for 12 delegates

First Aid at Work 4 day course

The First Aid at Work (statutory) course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Successful students receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be First Aiders in the workplace for the next three years.
£110 per person or £1100 a course for 12 delegates

First Aid at Work 2 day re-qualification

This two day course caters for the renewal, for a further three years, of existing first aid at work certificates.
£600 a course for 12 delegates

Paediatric First Aid for Schools

This course meets OFSTED requirements and is tailored to the specific needs of all staff that come under the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework - this includes child minders, nursery staff and teachers.

This two day (12 hour) course is delivered at your school, by professional instructors with many years experience in trauma and pre hospital care, and includes both theory and practical sessions.

The Paediatric First Aid for Schools Syllabus Includes:

  • First Aid Kits
  • Control of Bleeding
  • Recording and Reporting
  • Burns and Scalds
  • Casualty Examination

Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student, there is no final examination. Those students who complete the course, and are deemed to have reached the required standard, are awarded a certificate that is valid for three years.
